Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf

"Great location within walking distance to Pier 39 Fisherman’s Wharf; lots of activities and eating places. Also close to Princess Cruise Port. Breakfast, supper delicious and a galore of choices. Staff were courteous and friendly at the reception, service were fast. We had the Superior Twin beds booked, huge room, very comfortable too. Did not use the outdoor pool."

Argonaut Hotel

"Overall a good stay at the Argonaut. The location is unbeatable and the onsite restaurant The Blue Mermaid is a great option for drinks and/or dinner. We stayed in a City View King room. The rooms were massive - so much space! Also had a sofa/lounge area. Something to be aware of though is that the room looked out on the neighbouring Cannery Building and courtyard. The hotel also has an internal courtyard, and these Courtyard rooms are the entry level room types. It was a little confusing, but very quiet and arguably better than an actual city view, where you would hear the constant Cable Car rotation and traffic. Another thing of note, the room did not have coffee/tea making facilities and there was no mention of any in the Amenities list on the website. When we checked out, we were told there was complimentary tea/coffee in the lobby/restaurant. I wish this would have been explained at Check In rather than Check Out. Also, the website clearly states that there are Special Offers at Ben & Jerry's and The Winery Collective, both attached to the hotel. However, when I enquired about the Winery Collective, I was told it had no affiliation with the hotel and no deals included. I think the website should be updated with the actual amenities list."
