Cosy Nook - Central Windermere home by LetMeStay

Summary:
Cosy Nook is a quiet contemporary retreat located just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Windermere Village and its abundance of restaurants, bars and shops.

The property features an open plan living and dining space, two king size bedrooms (one of which can be arranged as a twin bed configuration) plus two bathrooms.

The Space:
Located off OAK street, less than 3 minutes from Windermere village, this property offers comfortable and stylish accommodation for up to 4 guests.

The property has a delightful patio at the front to relax after a busy day on the Lakeland fells - A parking permit is provided for one car which can be used in Broad Street car park(LA23 2AB), which is a five minute walk away. During the day, guests can also use the same permit to gain access to free parking in dozens of car parks across the region. A list of all eligible car parks can be provided.

The Neighborhood:
Windermere is a thriving lakeland location. The village offers great bars (the crafty baaa is a must for craft beer enthusiasts), restaurants and cafes. Located in heart of the central Lake district the property is ideal for exploring the lakeland fells and attractions.

Getting Around:
Public transport is available and offers a service every half an hour in the summer season, Windermere train station is less than 10 minutes walk. There is many great walking routes from the doorstep and further afield, we would love to offer recommendations of our favourites.

Cozy Nook

The cottage was really nice for a couple, but we thought it would-be a bit of a squeeze for four adults. In the second bedroom the end of the bed was only a few inches from the wall, making it really difficult to squeeze past to get to the other side. The cottage is in an ideal situation for pubs, shops and lovely walks. The bus service is also very good if you want to leave the car behind. We found parking an issue the first day as all the streets were full, but managed to find a space just outside the house the following day.

Cosy accommodation

Great base to explore the Lake District, central location near shops and lots of activities nearby. House had everything we needed for our stay as a family with 2 kids. Very comfortable stay. Would recommend and return here myself!

Great stay!

I had a great stay at the cosy nook. Great location, place is fab, modern furnishings and decor. The cottage was clean. Clear instructions for arrival and departure, parking permit for street parking. Tablet to use for check in and check out and for communication if needed. Thanks, I will recommend the lovely cosy nook.

Short Break Lake District

This cottage was in a great location only a 1 minute walk from the delightful town centre of Windermere. Classic Lake District architecture being made of local slate. Inside it was just perfect, immaculately clean, everything on hand and lovely and warm. The bedding was really amazing. Would love to know where they sourced the pillows and bed linen. Would recommend staying here would suit couple looking for a romantic break or family. Only drawback is there is no outdoor space which didn’t affect us as we spent all day out and about.
