De Vere Beaumont Estate

"This was a beautiful hotel! There is currently works with scaffolding up and I was originally given a room with two small windows, with the addition of scaffolding, which made the room dark. Also, it had a wet room, which would not have suited us. I called the reception immediately and they very kindly changed my room. They explained that as it was half term they were fully booked. I did say that I booked a deluxe room and I didn't know if I was getting what I paid for. He very kindly checked to see I there were any rooms to upgrade to but there were only suites available, which would have cost considerably more. The new room was up in the eaves, but it was a beautiful room, clean, great amenities. I was glad to be in the eaves , although the route we had only had a lift to the second floor, with stairs to the fourth, (we were able to manage the stairs) there were only two rooms. Which was nice and quiet until the slam of the door of the neighbouring room; I was happy we were not on a corridor. I also did call down for a problem accessing the WiFi, which a member of staff swiftly rectified and when I requested water, it came up quickly. The dinner and breakfast buffet were great, fresh. The dinner buffet was small, but did have a menu before you pay and there were pizzas one offer as an alternative, with the al a carte restaurant, which I was told needed to be booked in advanced especially as it was so busy. All staff were very helpful and friendly."

"We have stayed here many times and it is a lovely hotel. Our room was clean, the breakfast was lovely and we cannot fault the location. What let the stay down this time was administration. We did not receive the email to confirm our parking despite me telephoning the hotel to ask for this. We were not informed that our exit from the car park would be delayed because of a state visit. I fully appreciate that there was nothing they could do about the road closures but they could have let departing guests know that there would be restrictions. I missed an important hospital appointment because of the poor management of the situation."

"It was a really lovely hotel with lots of character and a nice breakfast. Really friendly helpful staff. Only improvement point would be a rather unconventional food menu so we didn't use the in-house food and ate out. I'm sure it was tasty but not a conventional hotel restaurant menu I didn't think. Lovely location however by the river and a great room."

"Have stayed before , very handy position for a 9 minute walk through the park to Windsor centre , if you love music , check out the Hope bar (2 mins walk down Alma Road ) will stay again, rooms are heated on arrival comfortable beds"

"We enjoyed our stay in park farm bed and breakfast. Breakfast is very amazing prepared by the owner. The place is perfect very clean, quite perfect for getaway and recharge the battery. Staff are very helpful and professional. We will surely go back again. Thank you park farm bed and breakfast for making my short break memorable."
Cavendish House

"Our stay at Cavendish house was convenient and simple from booking to check out. The flat was clean, well laid out with nice little touches like essentials in the fridge) and the lift access and free parking were bonuses. My only negative was the bedroom overlooked the local wetherspoons which on Friday and and Saturday night was pretty audible until late but other then that the location was excellent. We would definitely think about booking again if in the area and just bring ear plugs."
