"We had such a great time staying here! We had our two girls (ages 5 and 6) and my parents. The two primary suites were great for the pairs of adults. The water in the harbor was honestly fantastic for our kids ages — it is shallow and calm and when the tide is out, great for finding all sorts of shells and rocks. The deck was a great place to unwind and the kids loved making smores there at night. Jim is a great host and so communicative and helpful!"

"Host and her mother live on the property and were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Location is max 10 min walk to a nice beach. The house is definitely old - which was charming but also meant some unusual set-ups: the bedroom with a twin and day bed has direct access to the kitchen downstairs and has to walk through the other twin room to access the upstairs bathroom; the upstairs bathroom only has a tub, no shower (there is a shower in the downstairs bathroom off the kitchen); the stairs were pretty steep and a few spindles were loose. We enjoyed the stay and it worked for two families with a total of 3 kids, but probably wouldn’t have been ideal for older people."

"The location, coupled with the beautiful pool overlooking the harbor, made this a perfect place for a family vacation. The house is large and with kids bedrooms downstairs and master upstairs was also great for some adult peace and quiet. The fact that the house is part of a community with tennis and pickleball courts, a beach (and house kayaks) and a quiet community to take long walks was excellent. The Wizz Water Park was a huge hit with the kids and is a 15 minute drive from the house.The home itself, although older, has a great kitchen with modern appliances and tons of dishware and cooking pans as well as coffee makers. Couches and beds were very comfortable. Lots of towels and sheets and a great laundry room. Air conditioning was good, although on hot days it was tough to cool below 74 degrees. Great game room with a vintage Ms. Pac Man, a nice pool table and tons of board games. There are stairs down to a small private beach area in addition to the community beach which was only a 1 minute walk away,The owners were incredibly communicative and very very nice. We look forward to coming again!!!"

"Excellent location to access both Megansett and Old Silver Beaches which made life with small grandchildren very easy. Quiet neighborhood. Falmouth is a wonderful place to host a family vacation. Downtown is a quick drive and adorable. Kids also loved walking to nearby playground. Kitchen supplies made it easy to cook in after long days at the beach."

"The osprey nest is a beautiful property. I especially liked the porch a d surrounding conservation grounds. Bedrooms were comfortable and abundant. Bathrooms a little less so. The beach was easily accessible and lovely but not as private as Ivwould like because it is shared with daycampers all by with their counselors and lifeguard and music. However it became quieter and nicer in the late afternoons"

"This home was perfect for our growing family of 8 adults and 10 children 6 and under. We didn't even use one of the bedrooms!! The host was responsive to all of our questions and needs during our stay. The kitchen has all the pots and pans and utensils you need. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Plenty of bath and hand towels for everyone. The outdoor space is great - lots of room for running and playing. The only thing missing was a place for the kids to ride their bikes, so we drove the short distance to the Canal Bike Trail. The beach is a short (hilly) walk away - great for the kids -even at low tide exploring, catching minnows and hermit crabs! We packed beach chairs, umbrellas and toys but there were plenty there for our use along with a beach wagon and cart. Water shoes are a MUST for this beach. We wondered about the train tracks in the back, but much to the dismay of the kids, we only saw one train all week!! We would definitely come back!"

"Beautiful home, peaceful with great amenities, amazing wrap around porch & fire pit. Modern interior, well equipped kitchen & grill. Outdoor private tub on 2nd floor, great spot for morning coffee. Host left a warm welcome note and complimentary wine. Would definitely rent again."

"A beautiful property with a great ocean view. The house is large and well laid out for multiple generation visits. BUT, the house needs loving care. All faucets dripped. The bathrooms are tiny and ancient. The host should hire new cleaners. All garbage from prior guests was still there for 2 days after we arrived. The dryer damaged some athletic clothes. I wish i could give this gorgeous place a 5 star review, but it needs work!"
