The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. Kitchen utensils were very limited and the hot water was sporadic. Although the host was friendly and helpful, his accent often made it difficult to understand him.

The facilities is definitely nothing like it looks in the pictures I'm sure the pictures were taken back in the 60s when it was a beautiful place it's quite run down need some upgrades wouldn't be a bad thing but don't deceive people by the looks of one picture and then you get there and it's obviously not look that

This place was plain nasty. There were multiple hairs in the bathroom and something nasty on the curtains. Everything was worn and there was mold everywhere. Just skip it.

We love staying here, this was our second time. Pool was closed and we were a little upset about that. My son had looked forward to it since he learned we were going. We will be back, watching the gators from the room and the dock was very exciting for my 8 year old.

Not well maintained, smelled pretty bad, had to keep the windows and doors open for an hour to be able to stay in. The bedroom window didn’t have mosquito net. The shower curtain had mold. Fridge and kitchen facilities were functional. The sheets and towels were ok. You can survive for one night, but be better off to spend a few more bucks and stay somewhere else.

I left & drove 90 min home rather than stay here
I was unsure about this place, but it has pretty good reviews, so we decided to give it a chance. We arrived, and it was pretty run down looking form the get-go. We rang the doorbell to get the office's attention, and the guy was a little rude to me when he answered. He was short with us and sort of mumbled, until he got to the part where he wanted a cash deposit to stay in the room; which I didn't have, because I expected the deposit to go on my card. We got into the room. It was old, run down, smelled musty, and the ac wasn't on. As soon as we turned on the ac, it made the whole room smell like pot. My daughter went to used the bathroom, and there was something gross all over the tp. I went outside to try and get my phone to work (the wifi was locked and not offered to us, despite being listed on the site), and the pot smell got worse. Oh, and there was a full wasp nest right over my head on the cabin. I didn't feel comfortable staying there with my daughter, so we went back to the office to tell them we weren't going to stay. The office guy said that he isn't the owner and tried to call the owner, who didn't answer. So, yeah, we ate the cost and went home over staying in this place. DO NOT listen to the good reviews, they're lying. If you're young, on an adventure, and don't care where you're staying, this place might work out for you, but it is NOT a place for families.

Disgusting
There was mold in the shower. The room smelled musty. All furnishings were old and gross. Don’t try to save money. Just book a nicer place.

The property has mobile homes and our was very dirty and old. There was a smell of smoke inside, but they declare a non-smoking. The hood of the stove had grease, one window was broken and a lot of mosquitos came inside because the property is near a lake. The microwave had water inside. The table was not clean I guess from the previous visit.

Review of Lake Ida
The room was very clean. Clean sheets, clean floors, clean bathrub. The exterior with a rotted out travel trailor just 100 feet from us was not good. Very nice family runs this inn.
