"This is a beautiful home in a resort village just across the bridge from the lovely historic town of Wicasset. It's a few short miles from the charming coastal town of Damariscotta, a 20 minute drive to Coastal Maine's Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, and just under an hour from Portland. The house is beautiful. It's a spacious, clean, and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. There are 4 BRs on 3 floors, and each BR has it's own bath. The main level has 2 BRs (one with 2 twin beds and one with a queen that has a nice view of the river), a modern kitchen with granite counters, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, and full-size refrigerator, a comfortable living room sporting a large TV, and a large dining area with a table for 6. A breakfast bar provides additional seating. A washer/dryer is tucked away in a closet off the kitchen. A large, furnished, screened in porch runs along the front of the home. Upstairs is a large master with it's own balcony and a lovely view of Wicasset. The lower level is a large apartment. There's a BR with 2 large beds, a granite counter with a sink and microwave, a large living room, and a dining table for 4.Check-in and check-out were simple. Stephanie was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. We appreciated the coffee, pancakes, real maple syrup, and Maine blueberries the hosts provided, and the board games and Lincoln Logs in the cabinet off the dining area were a nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again."

"The house sits on a hill, and you need patience to walk down to the river and back up, but nothing that cannot be accomplished if you are in average condition. The view is beautiful and the surroundings peaceful.The house was clean and stocked as stated by the host. The host did an exemplary job itemizing everything, from items stocked in the kitchen to restaurants and area activities.My messages were answered promptly and with kindness.I hope we get to visit again!"

"As we drove up to the cabin, we noticed it was nestled between two other cabins that were close, however the mature landscaping along the edge of the water, and in between the cabins made it seem like you were in your own little world. The view was stunning of the bay off the small porch or sitting inside the cabin. Every night we watch the sunset from inside the cabin it was absolutely stunning. You could see the tower in downtown Edgecomb, and with the binoculars we could observe the osprey. There is a nice long dock that you can walk on and sit out in the bay on the dock and if you want to fish that is available. Perfect little spot."
