"This location is the most layed back luxury hotel on the North River just outside of all the commotion. This view of the river is so wide, that it's unreal that 2 blocks down it's tourist chaotic. Maybe 8 minute walk down to the original main drag along the river. Come back to an absolute gorgeous view. If you are a couple that wants a premium room to get away so easily, please look into THE VUE."

"Amazing job on the remodel so far. I would recommend staying here and decent price. Wintergreen was a regular stop for our family. Restaurant is a bit pricey. Food looked great but was not very hot. $40+ for breakfast for 2 and we didnt order anything big. Disappointing as I was always happy with the old restaurant. Maybe skip the restaurant."

"This was the worst stay I have ever had!! This place needs some serious updating and renovations. Beds are uncomfortable and pillow are hard. There were kids running the halls late at night and the person above us was jumping off beds and you can hear everything. Someone knocked on our door and ran after midnight. I called and complained and they did nothing."

"The room was clean, happy about that. I dont understand why you can't smoke in the balcony, which is the reason why I booked that hotel because of the balcony room. When walking in to Breakfast they told me we are closing and there was still about 30 min left I still went in because it was technically still open, there was not alot of food and they where already removing everything, shouldnt they wait for the closing time to clean?"

"The air conditioner worked great. The hot tub was actually hot and the staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Every hotel I stay at, I pull the sheets back to check for cleanliness and bed bugs. This hotel was no different and when I pull the fitted sheet up, the mattress pack had hair and crumbs on it and was visibly used. I called the front desk to request a clean mattress pad and was told to come to the front desk to get it. Once there, I was told “this is the only one you will get”. Upon returning to the room and removing all the bedding and pillows to put on the new mattress pad, I discovered it was a full size pad and not a king size one. By this point we were frustrated and just put the fitted sheet on without a mattress pad. Later, it was discovered that the blanket (not the comforter) also had not been changed as you could smell the previous man’s cologne on the top edge of the one side of the bed. By this point, we should have requested a refund and went elsewhere and I regret not doing so. The rest of the room, hallways and lobby “appeared” clean but who knows. If the bedding wasn’t washed, what else ISN’T clean. I washed all solid surfaces with sanitizing wipes after this as I could not trust how things were cleaned. Staff were little help with all of."
