Lovely Hotel
Some parts of the hotel were undergoing refurbishment, which meant we had to use odd routes to get about, but the staff were friendly, the food was great, and the room was spacious and clean with a lovely ensuite, so well worth the extra wandering.

Poor service, no sleep, bad breakfast
Paid for a family room, was then charged extra on arrival for the beds! We were opposite the bar where there was a function on until the early hours of the morning, we hardly slept. Broken tiles in hallway, daughter tripped on them and cut her knees. Went to complain to reception and ask for an injury form to record the accident and was told a manager would call in the afternoon, and not to discuss complaints at the reception (presumably because prospective wedding guests were currently viewing the property). Side plates only for the buffet breakfast, cold bacon, rubbery eggs.

Poor attitude from some of the staff asked to be moved cos of the nose from the heaters from the party tents they told me they would swap my room and didn’t second night there was a massive party and no Wi-Fi all the time I was there sorry but more interested in the party than the people who payed to stay there very poor behaviour from the hotel
