Top Woodbridge Hotel Reviews

Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel, Golf & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Clean rooms with everything you would expect in most hotels. Complimentary water in the room was welcomed especially as we stayed when temperatures were higher. Only upgrade that would be helpful is air-conditioning although we were lucky we had a cross draught with the window and balcony doors which helped hugely. All requests of staff even when it came to children's food requests (difficult eaters) were fulfilled. No requests were too big. The afternoon tea was lovely and definitely recommended. Spa area in terms of pool/jacuzzi were okay. To note unless you have a treatment booked you do not get given robes. So if you use the pool/jacuzzi you may want to take your own robes with you. This is something that could be improved for user experience as we didn't know that and it was a little embarrassing walking through the restaurant and past many rooms to get to the next floor up where our rooms were. Luckily we were a very large group so safety in numbers and all and we could laugh it off."

Grove House Hotel

"I wish the room had a fridge and we had only one bottle of water between us"

Seckford Hall Hotel & Spa

Paddock Barn ~ Short & Long term stay, pets welcome ~ Free EV charging.
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely peaceful setting in rural Suffolk, with walks on mown path around edge of property. Handy enough to reach Sutton Hoo and Minsmere by car. The only negative was that the shower temperature controls were difficult to master - some instructions would be useful."

The Bull Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We decided to go to the Bull inn as it was situated well for us as we wanted to go to Sutton Hoo and then the next morning go to Framlingham Castle. On arrival at the Bull inn we were meet by friendly staff booked in and given our key to our room which we were very pleased with may i say. As it was Sunday it seemed rude not to have the Bull Sunday roast which we both enjoyed and felt we had to say how good the veg was which were then told that it came from their own allotment , We both had a good night sleep in the king size bed and a nice shower in our bathroom which also had a bath we loved our room and would ask for the same one again as we plan to come back. Breakfast was very good we both went for the full English which I couldn’t fault set us up for the day 👍"

The Little House, Orford
8/10 Good
"Great location for exploring Orford and the surrounding areas, the Little House was beautifully designed and the thoughtfulness of the layout, facilities and quality of the finish were very much appreciated. Three excellent pubs within easy walking distance, plus restaurants serving local, delicious produce. The garden too, was delightful, enabling a feeling of full privacy from the adjacent owners’ house. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely sun terrace and easy access in and out. If we were to critique anything - and we caveat these comments with the recognition that a beautiful garden full of trees brings many birds - we struggled with the amount of pigeon poo over not only the garden chairs and the path in and out (it had rained a lot one day) making the chairs rather unpleasant to sit on comfortably and the path slippery. It also meant our car, parked under the trees for 3 days, was absolutely covered in large splodges of bird poo all over the roof, bonnet and windscreen which we hadn’t anticipated."

The Jolly Sailor
10/10 Excellent
"Josie made us welcome from the start, sorted out the rooms. Didn't look too astonished regarding the sleeping arrangements of separate rooms for a married couple. Mainly as she had never heard how much I snore. The fisherman's friends on Saturday night were honestly wonderful, good value food, sensibly priced drinks. We had a ball."

Crown and Castle
10/10 Excellent
"We only stayed for 1 night but we were so impressed with how comfy, clean and spacious the lodge was and also the location of the hotel such a beautiful setting with the castle very close by really picturesque. Hotel staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious and the eggs Benedict were perfect with a nice runny yolk. We’ll definitely stay again as Orford is such a beautiful quaint place to visit."
