"Loved the Delegate! Nicely done boutique hotel. Great location in between Lexington and Louisville for great spots along the bourbon Trail. Very close to Buffalo Trace, Castle and Key and Woodford. The Cypress and Oak Restaurant in the Delegate had great food and cocktails. Highly recommend!

"Charred Oak Inn is an absolute hidden gem! Fabulous old house with modern renovations. Pamela and Richard are super hosts: friendly, great at sharing the history of the house and surrounding area. Welcome “tea tray” was extremely thoughtful and delicious! Breakfast was phenomenal. The hosts did everything to make our stay memorable. This truly is a superb place to stay. Can’t say enough about Charred Oak Inn. You’ll love it!"

"The property was beautiful and relaxing, with the private lake, manicured grounds and surrounded by majestic horses. The hosts were very welcoming. We even had an impromptu game of Cash Cab at breakfast since everyone says My Husband looks like the Cash Cab Host. It was a fun and personalized way to end our visit there! "
