"The the staff were amazing. We couldn’t fault anything. On arrival we checked in at reception to be greeted with our room information and all information relevant to the hotel such as parking and food. We were shown to our room which was lovely very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. We popped over for dinner and had our son and grandson join us. Our grandson has a peanut allergy. They took this on board and catered for all of us. Dinner was a delight. We stayed here last year when visiting our son in Northumberland, but stayed somewhere else after. On choosing a hotel for this visit, this one one hands down for the friendly, staff clean room and fabulous food. Thank you"

"The accommodation would have been suitable for us if it had been maintained regularly. We couldn’t use the freezer because it was frozen shut. The light in the bathroom needed a new bulb and the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling.We had to call the owner to ask how to turn the heater on. The carpet needed cleaning There was 1 glass, no dishwashing liquid and no hand soap.The whole place needed a good clean.The backyard was putrid."

"The house has been refurbished and is in excellent condition. New kitchen and bathroom with plenty of hot water, comfy beds and plenty of wardrobe space. Only slight issue was, my mum in law is in her 80s and a stair rail would of helped her."
