It’s in a modern complex, just 400 metres from Woolacombe’s sandy beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Locally, join the South West Coast Path (300 metres) for pretty walks towards the rugged headlands at Morte Pointe (1.5 miles) and Baggy Point (6 miles). Further afield, plan day hikes through delightful moorland and woodland in Exmoor National Park (12 miles) or explore cultural gems like Arlington Court (12.5 miles), a popular National Trust site.

Everything is laid out on the one floor in this two-bed home, which sleeps up to four guests and two doggie pals. It has a pleasant open-plan living area with a sofa, a dining area and a contemporary kitchen. On warm days, open up the patio doors to let the fresh sea air in. Cook up yummy holiday meals or get a low-effort takeaway from one of Woolacombe’s outlets for a treat. You’ll have two bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a second bedroom which can either be a king-size or a twin. A family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Wildlife and nature lovers will love scouring the area for non-human inhabitants – you may spot local seals basking on the rocks near the town.
