A short but sweet review Our second time staying at Villa Caminantes and it was just as good as the first! We loved every moment. We love Lanzarote and the villa is in a lovely area, close to all amenities. Taxi rides are cheap and it’s easy to get to other places if and when needed! Walkable distance to beach, 15 mins max. Walkable distance to marina, 15 mins max. And a 5 min taxi ride into the center of town, approx 5. The pool was immaculate and the villa itself very clean and had all the bits we needed to enjoy 10 days away. We made use of the washing machine whilst away, so no dreaded post holiday wash loads! Iain extended our check out time on our last day, which made the stress of packing up and leaving so much better- a huge thank you for that. Thank you for having us again! We hope to revisit.

Highly Recommend

Villa was fantastic with great facilities both inside and outside. Location great, quiet but with lots of options within walking distance or short car drive away for restaurants, cafes or shops. Lots of beach options if preferred, but we loved the pool and outside space 😀 Would highly recommend

Next to Papagayo Beaches, perfect for us!

Overall a great Villa, however bedrooms were disappointing, bedding worn, sheet didn’t fit the double bed and you could hear the neighbours through the walls at nightime. Outside space was excellent, not overlooked and the pool was nice and warm.

Our stay at villa Caminantes

We enjoyed the villa so much last year that we decided to book the villa again this year. This villa is well-equipped and very clean. The area is very quiet so it's the perfect recipe for a relaxing holiday with a private pool. Marina Rubicon is nearby, where you can find really nice restaurants. Very kind owners!

Villa Caminantes

An absolutely lovely villa with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. The owner Iain is just brilliant, nothing too much trouble. He even anticipated we would want a late check out, so had asked the cleaners to wait until the next morning after I made the request! The villa is perfect for families or couples, clean, welcoming and comfortable! We would definitely come back here again! Lovely villa, lovely Island!!

Home from home

Lovely home from home villa, everything you needed was there. Location was great for us as we like walking. If you were less mobile then 4euros for taxi. 5min walk you have commercial centre with supermarket, bars etc very convenient. Overall we had a fab stay. Thank you 😊

well equipped villa in a calm area

we felt very well in the villa. it was very clean. The pool is great, the equipment in the house very good. We missed a shower outside and basically the beds could be better/bigger. But all in all a very good place to stay.

June getaway

Lovely villa, just right for us both. Everything we needed was available. From the initial transfer to our departure, very straightforward. The area was quiet but the bustling marina was nearby and a lovely walk after a meal in the many restaurants. We would definitelt use again and feel well rested. Thanks to Jodie and Brett for transfers and being contactable for any issues. A fabulous stay.

Nothing better to relax.

Villa is just as described and has everything you will need, and in such a quiet tranquil area there really isnt a better option for a quiet relaxing break. Villa is kept exceptionally clean and in great condition, Iain and his team cannot help you enough. Highly reccomend.

Fantastic

As per previous stays at this villa we couldn't fault anything. So quiet and relaxing. New TV offers more access to channels such as Netflix etc. Pool was lovely and warm and Iain was more than accommodating of a request we had during our stay. We will be back..again soon!

Excellent!

Villa was super clean, well equipped and spacious. Area is great! Walking distance to supermarket, local restaurants and bars. Marina is lovely to stroll down and browse the boutiques, many restaurants to choose from and all looking over the Yachts moored up. Best market I’ve been to and no one pesters you. Iain is great at getting back with any queries and let us have a late check out. We had a lovely holiday. Would recommend.

Spent 11 days in this lovely clean villa. Had everything we needed. Location was peaceful but there were local bars and restaurants you could go to and a 20 min walk took you to playa Blanca. Communication with Iain and his group was great. They were very helpful. Will definitely be returning. Once again Iain. Thank you

2 weeks of bliss!

The villa is a good size and has everything you need. We just used all the plastic cups and plates as we was outside all time. It was very clean and well kept. The cleaner came just after our first week and changed the linen and towels. The pool was cleaned twice whilst we were there. This was the 4th time coming to this area and this villa was the best by far so much closer to the bars and restaurants. We caught the bus to the marina and into Playa Blanca town for €1.40 each and a taxi to return for €5.60 had to queue sometimes. The owner was lovely and very accommodating for us and answered any questions quickly and has been a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be back.

Short but so SPLENDID

Had a fantastic time at a place i wish i could call home. Location quiet with 3 minute walk to all amenities needed at Los Pueblos Shopping Centre. We enjoyed daily walks to Marina but didn't need to venture any further during our 4 night stay. Villa had everything we needed. Only issue was on arriving at airport we found our Hoppa reservation had been rejected that day by the airport taxi company as their system did not recognise address. The rep even had our name and just said "not my problem". Fortunately there were plenty of other taxis waiting so just an annoying start to what turned out to be a wonderful break. Thank you Iain and Julie for allowing us to stay at Villa Caminantes. We will be back......

A wonderful holiday

We loved visiting Lanzarote - our holiday away was very much enjoyed by the whole family. The villa itself is situated in the quieter area of playa blanca and it was a perfect retreat to relax. We had a lovely time staying here, the facilities in the villa it’s self were more then expected . The kitchen is well equipped, the outside area clean and spacious, bedrooms comfortable and plenty of storage, bathroom clean and tidy. The heated pool made it really easy for us to enjoy staying put, but the local surroundings of the beach, marina with restaurants and children’s play area 5 mins away meant we had no trouble enjoying ourselves exploring locally. Amenities are extremely close which is a huge bonus, just a 5 minute walk to a local supermarket and a few trinket shops - which made self catering a lot easier. The local beach Papagayo (a steep mountainous walk , max 15 mins) is absolutely stunning, a large cove which has gorgeous white sand and clear blue sea. Our two daughters aged 9 and 1years had the best holiday making some beautiful memories together. Thank you for having us and sharing your wonderful villa.

Peaceful Villa

Beautiful Villa, Great for a holiday away, Everything you would need just a few things of contention; The heated pool was still cold and cost £60 per week. Split daily if only there for a few days. (In March). Found Small bugs in kitchen, other than that place clean. Air-con is a Coin payment machine, and does not come with price of place. We had a nosey neighbour that kept looking over the dipped wall near the tree on left hand side, I think it’s also a holiday let so wouldn’t be the same neighbours you would get. Good things; Hotel Manager, Was really nice and replied instantly, and allowed us to check-in early (Dropped off bags @10am when check in was @ 3)( And was fine to return @1pm when cleaners had finished) and stay on the last day till 2pm when check out was @ 10am. They have a book swap deal in the villa where, if you leave a book you have finished you can take another, not a reader but such a sweet idea. Lanzarote is a great place to go, tour bus’s ect pick up and drop off locally at the bottom of the street and take you all over to see all the hot spots, to Volcanos, winery’s, caves, So much to be discovered! Amazing place, and with lovely manager/Owner!
