"Great location in city center and close to the ferry terminal.
Fully stocked kitchen, if you wanted to cook. The only thing that was a disappointment was that there were no paper towels, napkins, tissues, shampoo, shower gel or soap provided. Very unusual for a vacation rental.
Other than that I would Highly recommend. "

"A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely location on the western side of the island. It has lovely views over fields. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms and shower were of good quality. The owner was both friendly and helpful. Thank you :-)"

"The architecture of the main house is truly superb, although having been designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens I would have expected no less. The house for the main part has retained most of its original rooms, where can be found lots of the original wood panelling, other architectural features and an envious oil painting collection.
It should be noted that guest rooms are actually in a dedicated block, build next to the main house where the walled garden and kitchen garden originally stood. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The house grounds are quite large, and clearly too much for the ground staff, but they are still lovely and well worth a stroll during your stay.
Food was excellent and all staff were pleasant."
"We enjoyed our stay at the village. The bar area and food options are good. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The staff are helpful and quickly resolved a problem we had with the TV. Our room was compact but had excellent air conditioning. The bathroom had an excellent shower. The negatives: The clear glass door is simply inappropriate and gives no privacy. We are a couple but we have no need to see what each other are doing in the bathroom. It was also exactly opposite to the room door so when this was opened it gave full view of what was going on in the bathroom to anyone in the corridor. Also parking can be a little challenging at peak times due to people using the gym and other hotel facilities."
"Refurb of bathrooms good just need new divans very nice receptionist we ho knew us and gave us a nice room breakfast very good parking too expensive but all Bournemouth is refurbed swimmingpool but showers too old would not stay up and other one head kept flying off otherwise great stay would recommend"
"Fantastic and clean after its renovation great breakfast as always that's one of the main reasons we stay here you need to start the day with a good breakfast."
"Good sized bedroom and ensuite shower always hot and powerful.
Lift to all floors which is useful with luggage..
Breakfast available, but we didn't try it.
Hotel in a good location if you don't mind a walk through the lovely, well maintained gardens.
Hotel does need updating, but that wouldn't stop us staying there again."
