"Kind and lovely people, lovely chat and they really cared. Very much a spare room in the end of their house with a it’s own bathroom so very homely. Breakfast room was a breakfast room with lots of stuff and a cat (I loved the cat). It’s down a very rough and rocky track in the car. Basically it’s an authentic working farm with some lovely farmers who make a solid breakfast. I’d be back. If you are looking for a polished hotel experience this isn’t for you but for a real life nice people...

We stayed in the separate annexe which is finished to a high standard with everything we needed and a lovely thoughtful welcome pack including fresh eggs from their chickens and home baked shortbread. "Didn't see he host at all during my stay. Although there were no issues, I knew if I needed them they were a phone call away. The room was well equipped with a bath and shower, kettle, hair dryer, towels etc. Very comfortable and quiet. I dropped something out of my pocket and as I was looking for it, seen that under the furniture was covered in dust accompanied by a spider on my towels. I was a little freaked at this, but it's the country. It's to be expected. "

"The flat itself was very good. A great location, big and airy, a bit shabby chic but nice. The service from the local agent (PlumLocations) was terrible. We confirmed availability of, booked, and paid in advance for a late check-out but they unilaterally cancelled at short notice, without offering any mitigation such as somewhere to store our suitcases and hence leaving us nursing bulky suitcases for a couple of hours. Pretty shabby customer service."
