"It was a bit of an adventure finding Hotel Pacifica after a long day of travel, given it is located on the far side of the river with no obvious way to cross, but after asking directions from another "gringo" we found our way across the foot bridge. The suite was fine for three adults although a bit sparse in terms of kitchen supplies. Good enough for a simple breakfast or lunch but cooking supper would've been difficult. "Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at Riu Palace Pacifico. The location is beautiful, the property is impeccably clean, and the food was absolutely excellent across the board. My only critique is that for an adult-only property, the vibe was a bit on the boring side—they could definitely use more entertainment tailored for adults. If you want pure relaxation in a stunning setting with great meals, it's fantastic, but don't expect a lot of nightlife or high-energy activities."

"Hotel stay was full of enjoyable and varied entertainment, clean and comfortable rooms, and beautiful grounds with clean beach/quality beach towels. Breakfast buffet and Steakhouse (reservation system begins at 12am not pm) was good. If you arrive to Italian restaurant after 730 you won't get in. Recommend gym access for teenagers, currently disallowed even with adult. Limited spa services in hotel, 5x price of 35 dollar massage offered by the same company on the beach. Increase clarity needed for location/access of complimentary watersports services--noone is ever at activity desk. Additionally, many of the buffet staff don't wear gloves."

"The room was average but clean. Enjoyed the terrace of the room. The food was average as well, so were the drinks. I enjoyed the pool. The location is a short ride from the pier. All in all, I don’t think I’m a fan of all inclusive establishments but I see the appeal for others. I probably wouldn’t do it again."

"The hotel is beyond incredible , located in a hill in the middle of the jungle with so many beautiful pools, an amazing lazy river and a very fun water slide where my kids spent hours on end. The staff is amazing. They always had a big smile on their face and always going above and beyond to help. Our pictures came out incredible, looking like a resort out of a movie. Our setbacks were the food - not that many restaurants where most of them were offering the same thing. It seems like they had good intentions about food but poorly executed. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style food every day, where everything was cold-warm at the most and bland. Nothing in either of the restaurants was great, they were just okay at most, except the Teppanyaki style one. This one was really good but without AC - brutal! The second thing was that the walls are extremely thin and you could hear everything - literally. Something we never had experienced before. At times you would think that they were inside the room with you. Our neighbor sneezed, we said bless you just joking and she answered thank you as if we were in the same room. But the worse thing was that our neighbors had a dog (didn’t know it was pet friendly) so the dog barked all the time. Was not planning on going on a relaxing vacation to be hearing a dog all the time - very annoying. It would be best if they had either a floor solely for guests with pets or even a whole section for them. Would go back for the scenery, not the food"

"Overall the my hold experience was superb. The staff was helpful in every aspect of the property. The Restuarants Chefs and Staff went out, and cook and served what ever order do to diateries health. The food was delicious. Bar tender prepare cocktails to my libation list. The specialties restuarant are phenomenal I highly recommend."
