"Breakfast was extremely subpar…even from last year! Pillows must be 40 years old & flat, terrible noisy AC/heater unit. HK staff is subpar..they do not clean microwaves/fridges/coffee makers or above doors/headboards, lamps/bulbs, bugs in light fixtures. Food in freezer, toothpaste/hair in sink. Trash cans are FITHY with months of gunk! Sloppy cleaning. Bedding did not smell fresh even. Doors/walls had marks & dirt that can easily be removed. Pealing paint should be addressed by maintenance. & why have a hot tub room w/o having it functional? From last year this place has gone way downhill. Do NOT recommend Staff is very friendly & welcoming… but cannot replace the ick"

"The room had no window which i kind of understand being a historical building No amenities in the room No water bottles Very limited towels and i little bottle of shampoo The Beds were SUPER COMFY Nice choice of pillows The ceiling was super noises from te room above lots of creaking boards Bar staff was amazing "

"Cute as can be! Staff wonderful. Beds and noise from other rooms not so good. However they do provide earplugs. Good value overall :)"

"The property and parking is situated in a small space. Indicates a pool present. Though we never saw one. Room was outdated and needed a good cleaning. Linens were laundered but had pet hair stuck in places. Fridge came with pizza from a previous guest. There were ants on the floor. We were put in a separate back building without easy access to the main building. Has to walk around to the main building for ice, laundry and breakfast. Breakfast was minimal and crowded in a tight spot. Items were running out and a major delivery took process in the middle of Saturday morning breakfast. This was awkward, inconvenient and somewhat dangerous with big loads of items being maneuvered around small children who were trying to access food in tight spaces. Not sure we’d stay here again."

"The room was clean and comfortable. It has been well maintained since we stayed there abou 12 years ago. We were not told of a continental breakfast or coffee. Will stay again during the off season. "

"The hotel was built in 1904 and has been beautifully restored. It's a few doors off the main street so it's close to dining and shopping. The rooms are comfortable and the bar is a great place to hang out and meet a few other travelers. There's a patio off the bar and lots of outdoor seating as the weather allows. Fren amazing experience!d checked us in, tended bar and gave us some great recommendations. Don't miss a visit to the Wild Bill Cody Museum about 1/4 mile up the road for a very interesting experience."

"Space was clean but no staff present and the accommodation wasn’t available to assist in finding the room. It was very difficult to find even with emailed instructions. We almost gave up to find a different hotel. Room was clean but smelled musty."
