This 3 bedroom property has been completely refurbished to a high standard by the owners.

Set in the shadows of York Minster and just a few minutes walk to the heart of the city centre. The ground floor of the property has a very spacious open plan lounge and dining area with comfortable seating, LCD Smart TV with complimentary Netflix and a dining table to seat 6 for dinner.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you'd expect to find in a property of this standard including a coffee machine. Just off the kitchen is a ground floor wc with sink.

Moving up to the first floor of the property there are two of the bedrooms. The first of which is the large master bedroom that comes with a tremendously spacious shower ensuite. The second bedroom is next door and features twin beds. The main family bathroom is also on this floor and has a bath with an overhead shower.

On the top floor there is another twin room in the attic complete with drawer unit and clothing rail.

Although there is no parking as such with the property there is a car park very close by where you can park for 24 hours for around £15.

The property will accept one well behaved dog but please be aware all pets must be kept on the ground floor area.

Lovely house

Excellent location, easily walkable to town. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful street. Tastefully decorated and very spacious. Comfy beds and very clean throughout. Stairs to third bedroom may be too steep for some guests though my son loved it. Easy to use heating and plenty of hot water.

Great House

Just arrived back from a wonderful stay. The house is on a lovely quiet street with parking which is great for a city centre stay. It was immaculate and beautifully furnished. Plenty of room, bathrooms were spotless. This property has everything you need for a fantastic trip away. Within walkable distance of York city centre and the shambles it is perfect. Really good value for money, would recommend and definitely stay again

Perfect Stay.

Lovely home, very good location. Everything was within easy reach. It was very clean and smelt fresh when we arrived. Beds were very comfy. Parking was given to us free which was helpful as York car parks can be pretty expensive. Loved our stay here. Hope to return!

Great place.

This was a great find. It had everything we needed for a short stay. Was spacious inside and it was in a great spot, really close to town and the minster which was good for us as we spent each day out in York. We had an excellent stay at St Johns Street. A large and spacious house in an excellent location. The street was quiet and the house warm with everything we needed and comfy beds. Parking at the front of the house was excellent too. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay in York!

Lovely stay in York with friends for the weekend ! Good location, very close to York City Centre, with ample and very spacious and clean accommodation. The staircase to the top level is very steep so need to take care but other than that, was a faultless property.

Fantastic Week!

We had a lovely stay in York. The house was in the perfect location, quiet and peaceful but only a 5 minute walk to the city walls, it really is the perfect base to explore the city. Booking was very straight forward and all my questions were answered promptly. We ate out every evening as there were so many lovely restaurants right on our doorstep but the kitchen was well enough equipped that cooking would not have been an issue. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and clutter free. Parking permit is provided and there was always ample spaces available. Our family had a fantastic week making memories.
