"We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend. Breakfast was great, and the owner greeted us and was very warm and friendly. It is in walking distance to several locations most want to visit. We felt safe walking around, no problems at all. If you’re looking for something ultra luxurious this isn’t it but if you want a quaint, clean, zen and inviting experience don’t pass this bed & breakfast up. "

"Elissa is an excellent chef, the property is beautiful, the dogs are very friendly, the pool was nice. our room was spacious, they paid a lot of attention to detail. very recommended."

"This was a great place! What really made the stay so remarkable was the hospitality and generosity of Luis - the host. He provided breakfast for us every morning, made recommendations for places to visit, and patiently answered the countless questions we had about Mexico. The room was comfortable - had air conditioning - and a nice place to hang out in front. Would definitely go there again - sad we had to leave after only 3 days. "

"Comfortable large units with two double beds. Great breakfast included but dinner was simple with few choices. Limited restaurants in the town. Communication was limited--no map of area and no receipt for cash payment. Walked on short trail that had no signage or map and ran into what looked like an old Mayan stone house."

"It's a perfect place to stay in Merida. It was a quiet oasis yet it was easy to walk to the main blvd. Parking on the street in front of the hotel was convenient and always seemed to be available."

"I have been returning to PlayaLinda for several years now. In fact, I actually had to delay my beach portion of my Mérida trip in order to accommodate my strict preference for this hotel. It was my fault, as I waited to long to book and the ocean front unobstructed views room were all booked up. Anyhow, it’s always my go to In Progresso, even with all the changes I have seen happens to the beach town in the last decade or so, Playa Linda is still hands down the best hotel available. Thank you guys for everything! "
