"The food, atmosphere, and super friendly staff definitely make this place to return to. Staff was always friendly and very, very accommodating even with our limited Japanese vocabulary. Definitely the highlight of our trip for sure!"

"If your goal is to get as remote as possible, this is the place for you. It’s an adventure to get to, but when you get there, the remote location provides a tranquility that is second to none. Wonderful experience."

"Buffet dinner with steak and tempura. Good onsen water."

"The private onsen was lovely with stars and mountain views. Also the views from the room and corridor windows were very beautiful. The staff were helpful but there was a little language barrier. Good value for the money but don't expect luxury."

"Nice quiet getaway with onsen. Amazing river boat tour and ropeway nearby. Beautiful river and nice walking trails to different shrines. "

"The best part about this hotel was that everything was neat and clean and the dining was very affordable price "

"DISGUSTING. The stench of mold and damp permeated every space and every floor. The elevator smell was the worst. Stains everywhere including the ceiling. This place hasn’t been maintained in probably 40 years. The whole area is falling apart and most buildings are abandoned. We couldn’t get out of here fast enough. I will be making a proper complaint with photos."

"It would be great if the showers were open in the morning and if ramen was available for sale at the front desk"

"this hotel is very good ,very clean and staff are very kind and polite"
