It is somewhat in decay and not very well kept, but it is extremely interesting to visit the sights and experience Stone Town while looking for souvenirs and just observing the Swahili culture and Zanzibar architecture. The staff was welcoming, and the property was clean. The air conditioning was a lifesaver!

This was a very nice, pleasant, convenient, easy stay. The rooms were clean, air conditioned, and had plenty of space for a solo traveler like myself. We actually had had water, which was also nice compared to some places I’ve been. The staff were fantastic, and I especially appreciate their help with a few things I needed help with. Overall, great stay. Would happily recommend.
