Absolutely first class holiday and resort. Food was exceptionally good, both in the a La Carte restaurants and the buffet, grounds were immaculate, staff were friendly and warm. The pool areas and raised beach were fabulous. If you had a question or needed help with something, dial 9 and reception staff sorted it without ever needing to leave your room. Without doubt one of our best holidays ever and we will be going back next year without a doubt. The only note of caution would relate to disabled or elderly clients, the resort is well advertised as large and sprawling and dotted around a hillside, so walking about for some might be difficult. We loved with Island and would rate this holiday overall as a 10/10!

"Breakfast was nice. This hotel is near the sights in Stone Town. Walk through the narrow shopping streets to the slave market in just a few minutes. Freddie Mercury residence is just around the corner from the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, although I did have to ask 4 times to get the TV ..."
