"It would have been nice to have bottles of water replaced in our room every day we stayed, rather than just day 1. Our toilet was not flushing so reported it and it was fixed straight away, only thing was that the bath mat was soaking wet and they left it on top of the bed! When we arrived we were not greeted with complimentary drinks as we saw other guests were greeted with drinks (Moroccan tea). I needed help with a restaurant booking so approached the front desk, the First Gentleman I spoke to I felt was abit abrupt with me! so spoke to another one instead who was very helpful. I would have loved a long floor mirror in our room rather than one hung on the wall as a decorative piece( but could not even look in it as it was high up). This is not a complaint but just something I experienced! I would definitely book this riad again as it was so convenient to a lot of the places we visited, very clean, breakfast was enjoyable and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were polite and helpful especially the guy who took our suitcases from us midway on the way to our taxi ( as he just took other guests to their taxi, and saw us) the poor man nearly got run over by a motorcycle but he was not hurt!"

"This is a tranquil oasis in the middle of Marrakech chaos. A very old, traditional property with patios, gardens and multiple sitting areas that has been very well-maintained. What makes the experience special is the helpful, accommodating staff with excellent advice for restaurants and what to see. Noella was the star of this team. The food is very good but the restaurant is not licensed for alcohol, though bring-in may be an option. The breakfast is very good with omelette available to complement fresh juice, fruit and Moroccan bread goods. We had oriignally booked for 5 days, but extended to 6."

"The Riad Amina was a horrible experience. I suppose they can’t be blamed for the sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom since it’s a really old building in the Medina, but the general lack of repair was bad—mold on the bathroom ceiling, crumbling tiles, worn-out furniture and a dirty rug. The pictures of my “suite” didn’t match the room. The worst part was the lack of air conditioning. It had an air conditioner, but it only blew hot air. We got there too late the first night to find other accommodations. I let the management know about the issue early in the morning. All day they kept saying they were fixing the issue. At one point in the afternoon a staff member went with me to the room to verify the heat, and agreed that the air conditioner was blowing hot air. At 11:30pm the repairman actually came but gave up around 12:30am. I slept maybe 4 hours in a room that was around 35 Celsius. In the morning the staff said the repairman would be back. I gave it ‘til noon that day and booked another hotel. When I went to check-out, the guy in the office was confrontational. I just wanted to check-out. What an awful experience. Lack of sleep will really ruin a vacation. I wasn’t offered any refund or compensation despite checking-out a full 24 hours early."

"It is a wonderful riad. Exceptional staff, wonderful service, and a beautiful property! Would recommend asking the staff for a taxi driver to go around during the evening as the property is a bit north. It is safer that way, specially late at night. Spa service, room service are perfect! Property is extremely clean. Would definitely go back!"

"Very rude and unprofessional staff. The AC wasn’t functioning well and most of the time the room was very hot. Room service is very late and not to the standard of the price paid. Misunderstood the booking days and made me pay for an extra night while at checkin I gave them the dates I was supply to stay, when I told them they need to fix it they argued about the new price and when asked for the authorities they wouldn’t call the police and physically blocked me from leaving the premises to call the police. They held my suitcases and passport in my room and did not inform me that I was supposed to checkout on the 19th until I returned from my day out. Overall customer service is very poor and unprofessional, there is no customer satisfaction not the price paid is worth the amenities. Paid similar price at the ritz and had the best ever experience and service. This shows how the hospitality in French managed hotels in Morocco and the customer service in general still lacking and the bureau of tourism should be aware of these issues. I would not recommend this facility to anyone else in the future."
