Room was clean and comfortable. The decor was a bit dated. But, the price compared to surrounding properties made this place a steal. The included breakfast had a nice selection of options, and made for a great start to the day.
The surrounding area had shopping and dining, with in a very short walk.
Only think we felt was missing in the room was cups or glasses. We had a bottle of wine, and nothing to drink out of.
Check in as at the neighboring hotel.
Near train station. Excellent location. Average breakfast. Nice bathroom.

Good option at reasonable price
Great location very short walk from main train station and Gornegrat train. Check in not available at the hotel but you only need to go a few yards down the road to do it at a neighbouring hotel. Rooms a little tired but comfortable. Very good breakfast buffet served in the hotel itself
Very nice place downtown. The lock in my room didn’t work too well and the bed was too soft for my needs. Great staff, excellent breakfast, good price. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
An older hotel, nothing fancy but very clean and comfortable.
The you can't beat the location, just a couple min walk from the station right in downtown Zermatt but just off the main Street so it's quiet.
The very reasonable room rate included a breakfast buffet of breads, croissants, cold meat and cheese, yogurt, fruit, boiled eggs (easy DIY) and good coffee etc. Everything was spotless and staff were very pleasant. A good way to start the day exploring Zermatt.
Hotel is very good. 3 minutes walk from station. They give good breakfast every morning (bread, croissant, cheese, juice, egg, meat, cereal, tea/coffee, yogurt). Provided US plug in adapter, hot water kettle and fan. Front Desk was very polite and very helpful. Left baggage with hotel after check out.

A gem in the midst of hustle and bustle in Zermatt
In overall, the stay was unexpectedly brilliant as the hotel’s breakfast is delicious and the service was nice. For the breakfast, it was a surprise when the waitress asked us whether we wanted hot chocolate and the hot chocolate tasted just right as it was not too sweet but yet scrumptious. The room was better than we expected with it being quite roomy. Other than that, it’s definitely a shocker when our room was facing a quite, big garden to allow us to take a rest from the hustle and bustle in Zermatt. It was definitely nice that the hotel has maintained brilliant cleanliness as well.

Thank you. I hope you will keep great memories of your stay in Zermatt.,
Unfriendly front staff, shower drain worked poorly so we had to take really short shower or it was a flood, breakfast staff was nice but breakfast was mediocre at best.
In a very convenient location walking distance from the train station, restaurants and shopping area. Breakfast, which was included in our stay, consisted of a variety of bread, spreads, ham, yoghurt, juice, eggs and coffee. Would definitely recommend.
We loved this charming hotel. The place is a 70’s ski lodge really and is very old fashioned. You can see the place has been very loved and it was SO CLEAN.
It’s a bit quirky and the rooms are small (like all of those old ski lodges) but we really liked the overall charm.

No thrills, with very basic breakfast, but safe and very conveniently located just 3 minutes walk from Zermatt train station, just around the corner from the main street, as well as 13 minutes walk to the gondola to Matterhorn Glacier paradise!
A lovely little alpine hotel. Rooms were comfortable and staff helpful. Private balcony. Breakfast was nice and location was great - on a side street off the Main Street. Note - About five steps up to gain entrance to the hotel. Would recommend.

Thank you. Keep great memories of your stay in Zermatt.
Walls are thin so you can hear a lot, but overall my stay was great and so convenient being a 2 min walk from the train station and all other activities.
Very conveniently located close to Zermatt train station. Many restaurants and shops close by and easy to get to activities such as Gronergrat and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Hotel was clean and service was good.
The hallways are dark which makes it hard to see where your going let alone getting into my room. The staircase does not give me any warning that i need to duck my head. I hit my head walking down the stairs. For the price i paided i would expect the lights in the hallway to always be on and the staff to be more friendly. If you ever stayed at a motel 6 in the United States. There level of service is lower then that. I stayed two nights and i bet the floor was more comfortable than the bed i had. Ive had a sore back since ive stayed there. The last time this hotel was remodeled is 1960's. I would not suggest staying here unless you like dark hallways and extremely hard beds.

You have to turn on the light in the hallway. The light is not working 24 hours a day. Swiss gouvernment forced us to economize 10% of electric energie. From 3 qualities of matresses (hard middle and soft) we have in Switzerland ours are middle. I'm sorry you prefered to sleep on the floor.
We loved this boutique hotel right near the train station. It was quiet and clean. We were able to leave our window open and have fresh air to sleep in. No extra frills at this place and breakfast was typical European style.

The property is a bit dated but for the price in comparison to other hotels in the immediate area it was worth the stay. The owner was very pleasant and allowed us to leave our luggage while we took the Gornergrut.

The manager/owner was very helpful and kind. He suggested a nearby restaurant and said to make a reservation early. The cheese fondue was excellent. We were able to leave our luggage there after "check out" the last day which was very helpful. This hotel was a good fit for us!!.
