Very nice and comfortable place to stay, it’s owned by a couple it’s a family business. Wife has been both super friendly and kind to all guest. Every day they were guiding me to nice places such a local restaurant and all the other attraction places. I highly recommend all.

Hotel with a Very Friendly Owner

The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is central and walkable distance to the central of the city. The room was cosy. I enjoyed my stay here.

I had a really great stay here. The rooms are really comfortable with en-suites and a great location (very close to bus station and tianmen mountain cable car whilst also been a very short taxi to the airport). The host was very very accommodating and was happy to speak in English which was very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for an easy and comfortable stay.

Great host, great location with nice restaurants.

Perfect host, very attentive and nice guy/family who runs the hotel. Excellent air conditioning unit in the hot weather of these summer months, the only drawback is the lack of a ramp at the entrance of the hotel for those guests who are locomotion limited. The elevator worked just fine and the room is large enough to fit a wheelchair in.

Very helpful owners, great room, though the bed was a bit hard. Location very close to a lot of restaurants and transportation, including the Tianmen Mountain cable car. Note: the hotel includes two properties a short walk from each other so it took a bit of sleuthing to find where to check in; the property with the front desk is “Hotel California.” The coordinates provided on Expedia also didn’t take us to the hotel; you need to head north, away from the police station and orthopedic hospital.

Der Besitzer der Unterkunft spricht Englisch. Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen und nur einigermaßen Sauber. Die Dusche ist direkt über dem WC. Das Toilettenpapier und die Seife waren bei Ankunft nicht aufgefüllt. Die Unterkunft ist fußläufig zur Tianmen Cable Car und zum Bus-/Zugbahnhof Die Mitarbeiter können bei der Beschaffung von Eintrittskarten behilflich sein (hatte ich meinem Fall aber leider nicht geklappt) Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, sodass man andere Gäste als auch draußen viel hören kann und das Bett war sehr hart. Für den Preis aber im normalen Verhältnis

L’hotel è certamente un po’ rustico e le stanze sono abbastanza piccole, ma comunque molto caratteristico. La cosa che abbiamo apprezzato di più è stata la gentilezza dello staff. Le due persone alla reception sono meravigliose, sorridenti e super disponibili. Ci siamo sentiti accolti e a casa. Abbiamo solo fatto un po’ fatica a trovare l’hotel, poiché la posizione nelle mappe del sito Expedia è sbagliata, quindi attenzione!

Disappointing

First, the hotel is not 6 KM from the National Forest Park as indicated in hotels.com, but about 40 KM from it. This was disappointing but might not have been the hotel's fault. That said, the service at the hotel itself was bad. We had no hot water on our first night. There was also no room cleaning service while we were there. When we asked the front desk person for towels and shampoo bottles we were treated as though we had asked for the moon. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place (and hotels.com should update its system for Zhangjiajie to show that this hotel is nowhere close ot the National Forest).
