Good service, nice facilities, excellent breakfasts but supper was under par!

Staff was great. Room was very big! Close to Old town, 5 min walk

Brilliant breakfast choice and all staff very friendly and helpful. Nice apartment which isn't far from the marina with good shops,bars and restaurants.

This is a very good hotel, well situated, comfortable generous rooms, relaxed hotel, lovely pool area and grounds, good options at the buffet, but missing a few nice to have eggs options (poached eggs, omelette). The drinks are of decent quality, and the evening and dsy entertainment was top notch. The restaurant experience was notably lacking personal service and lacked hospitality which seems to have changed since our last visit. Everyone else was courteous and professional and helpful with information or requests. The hotel has changed ownership and lost some local flavour and personality but it is a very comfortable stay while visiting the area.

I stayed there for 8 days. The food was disappointing because there was no sense of Portugal. What helped was different Themes every night, so could try some food of different countries. Due to additional restaurants or rooftop bar, before booking it is highly recommended to check the terms, I found out on arrival that I have only 1 Asian restaurant included that I can have a dinner once during my stay and no rooftop bar because my package is "only all inclusive". I tried this Asian restaurant one night and the food was really bad, I do not understand how they can call it an Asian restaurant. The snacks bar overall burger, hotdog, sandwich. The hotel entertainment, it was hard to understand what is going on, when and where. Some activities were not well organized and lacking of music during the day by the pools and entertainment in the evenings. The gym in the main block had no air conditioning working, it was +26C or over inside. The disco was a bit of joke, someone was just playing songs on the phone for an hour. The reception did not explain about the hotel and where to find everything and how everything works. There is QR code to scan about the hotel that is useless and info is blur. For 4 start hotel, there was no hair shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, only a shower gel. The staff was nice apart from check in/out reception. Wifi does not work in the hotel, including tv in the room that was lagging.

Hotel was very nice, buffet was excellent and loved the robes. We played golf but needed to rent clubs. They were expensive and not very good.

The apartment we stayed in was very clean but did not look at all like the photos. It was very dated and not at all what we expected for the price. The property was right at the entrance of the resort next to the security office!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Really quiet and peaceful. We did go outside of school holidays so it could be busier during that time. Lovely breakfast loads of choice. Room was immaculate and very quiet. The access to the beach could have been better signposted. The way down to one of the beaches is not easily accessible, don't attempt it if you have any mobility problems or aren't very fit. Very steep steps. The other beach can be walked to easily. The hotel is quite set back in a cul de sac. It looks like its easy to walk to or there should be a cutting to get to it but there isn't and it is quite a steep hill to walk up. The area the hotel is in is quiet, if you are after a central base in Albufeira this isn't the place for you. But there is a bus stop close by and the buses are regular so if you don't mind that it's good
