Great hotel. The island has no shops to speak of which proved to be a disaster when my airline failed to deliver my bag. Fortunately the staff managed to sort an emergency purchase for me using a connection on the island. Outstanding service, many thanks!

Hotel is beautiful but at check-in they assigned us a room that is like a cave - dark / no view and said that was the room booked. Description of rooms are not specific and they should - especially when there is almost no cost difference between the “cave” rooms and the ones with sea view ….

Lovely spacious room for our family. Great restaurants on site and a wonderful location. About a 15 min drive to the Old Town area. It was great to be able to walk down the promenade which was so charming and convenient for more dining options. The only downside was that the fitness center was pretty basic and there were not enough free weights for a proper workout. Would definitely recommend this spot!

The hotel Kompass is located in a beautiful spot by the sea yet close enough to the old town that you can go there in 10mn. The staff was very helpful , always smiling and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were all taken care off. A special mention to Martina at breakfast thanks to whom we always started our days with a big smile. The pool was clean with enough chairs for everyone. Lots of restaurants at a walking distance. The view was amazing from the balcony. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel, really friendly staff. We very kindly received a complimentary upgrade to the royal blue part of the hotel which was fantastic. The rooftop pool and lounge was lovely with fantastic views. Drink prices were average, food prices were quite expensive for what it was although the food was really nice. Best lasagne we’ve ever had in the pizza restaurant. Breakfast was really good in the royal blue part, small buffet selection as well as a menu with freshly cooked egg dishes. Staff always really helpful and polite. The grounds are lovely to walk around, and lapad and the promenade are gorgeous. Definitely the best area to stay in! So many little swim spots in the sea both at the hotel and further down the promenade. Overall cannot fault the hotel, the only suggestion would be to have a little supermarket within the hotel grounds - it’s a fairly big resort consisting of multiple restaurants, bars and hotels so I don’t see why it wouldn’t have a small shop. Nearest supermarket is a 15-20 min walk which can be inconvenient when it’s hot and you just want a few extra bits!
