Fabulous views over the bay, helpful staff and a pool. Stayed here to celebrate my 70th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it especially the champagne afternoon tea.
I can see why lots of the people we met were repeat visitors, some coming back every year.
The walk up the hill is quite steep but worth it when you get there.

The golden Sands is a stunning family run hotel right on Saint Beard Beach, and the highlight are the excellent staff. The restaurant is great and the rims are average sized and well worth the Seaview. The only comment would be no air-conditioning, not normally a problem given the Seabreeze but it was really hot during our day. I’ll definitely return.
