Staff was super friendly and attentive, while the room itself was clean, the main areas were a little lacking, and the elevator was… rough. No bar or restaurant on site aside from the breakfast buffet, but the receptionist was able to recommend a nice soot about a block away.
Good for a budget stay which is what I needed for this trip so 4/5 overall

The 1st room smelled of weed, so they had to change it. 5* hotel - no napkins in the room. Receptionist was like somebody was forcing to do her job: your passport please, here are the room keys, that’s all she said. The only positive was the Captain Cook restaurant - top notch!

The staff on the front desk were really helpful and checked us in efficiently. The cleaning staff were excellent, with our room being cleaned at the same time each day. Overall we had no negative feelings towards the hotel (the rooms can get quite warm, but in winter that is not a bad thing at all). I saw a lot of people complain about the hotel being “outdated”, but in a former USSR country, I found it gives it some character. Would absolutely stay here again.
