Not enough staffs at check in counter. Lots of flights crews stay at this hotel, when they arrive, they have priority to check in, check in counter staffs will jump out to serve them first. Lack of communication between check in staffs and luggage storage staffs.
The hotel is old and outdated but well maintained. Great location by the bayside, easy access to maritime museum and USS Carrier, easy to get around down town, little Italy and etc. Stayed in bay view room with balcony, enjoyed the nice view. Spacious and comfortable room. Because of the drawbacks mentioned, only 4 stars were given.
