The stay was great and as for being close to all the amenities. Very well positioned for all you needs.

The OYO Imperial Hotel was excellent. The staff were always willing to help. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

This is an independent hotel and not a chain which enables it to look different from everybody else. The check in was quick and was able to go to room early. The parking easy plenty of spaces. Breakfast was very nice and everything was topped up regularly so you never ran out or had to wait. Probably I would say the toast area and fruit juice and hot drinks all squashed together. Didn't use the bar so cant comment. I did like that we never had to wait very long for the lift which was just as well as they were quite small. The hotel is very close to the beach and pleasure island but quite a distance from the centre. However we found the trams frequent and easy to use.

We stayed here for a night for a wedding reception. The shower wasn’t functioning properly and we could not close it completely. However, the worst part was it was full of mould. There was mould around the bath tub as well. The beds were ok. I would not stay here again.

All round awesome! Great hotel.

Room and front desk staff fine. Nobody ate in restaurant. Found out why. Chef is a nightmare. Miserable sob, service with a snarl. Made a huge fuss of cleaning the whole floor grumbling about the mess id made by a couple of drops spilt from my tea as I carried it. Rude doesn't even cover it. Why any company would employ such a miserable unpleasant man is beyond me.

It was pretty good overall. No light switch near the bed, the duvet was too heavy. I didn't like not having a key and it was a nuisance having to keep a note of codes and having to type them in every time you entered. Also, I didn't like receiving the codes at the last minute. But these are all minor points, overall it was good.

The parking was easy. We were greeted by Jacob at check in who was friendly. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy and a fan had been supplied as there was a heatwave and it was 23 degrees at night. The view from room number 6 was of trees and we couldn't really hear the M6.The downside was the bathroom, it was extremely tired and in need of an update, however the shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was excellent and the staff in the pub were friendly. Location just off the M6 was brilliant. There was a Lidl's and Tesco express 20 minute walk or 5 minutes drive away.
