9/10 Wonderful! (193 reviews)
Excellent hotel , great staff.
Only stayed b&b but couldn't fault it.
Only slight negative was the pool was getting refurbished the week after our stay.
So there was lots of black stains but once the pool is back in use it will be superb again.
Pool and bar drinks were reasonable Pint 6 euro wine 6 euro soft drinks 4 euro
Got an ocean view room which didnt disappoint
Would recommend this hotel

8.2/10 Very good! (981 reviews)
Excellent amenities, helpful staff and good location. Only downside was a significant ant problem, although highlighted to reception they sent maintenance to clean/spray one day, it continued to attract ants. From pool conversations appears it's a problem in most accommodations not isolated, therefore dont leave anything on floor!
Quiet/not too crowded late September.
Breakfast okay, not well layed out but works.

8.6/10 Excellent! (1,003 reviews)
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at The Grand Hyett , previously as the Dreams.
Nothing has changed, we love the preferred club rooms, the concept of the lounge, being able to nip and make a coffee or have sandwich.
The rooms are amazing, with a massive big TV , filled mini bar to be used free of charge, lovely toiletries, slippers, dressing gowns etc, all that you would expect from a hotel of this standard.
We had a lovely room overlooking the adult only pool and the Rubicam Marina, it is right opposite a lovely beach
We would definitely recommend the Grand Hyett Plays Blanca , we cannot wait to go back
