Northern Norway All inclusive Holidays

The location of this apartment was perfect, just a short walk from the centre and had everything required on our doorstep. The place overall was modern and clean. However, for the price, I do have some feedback… The electronic keypad on the front door didn’t work and we arrived late at night so had to telephone for help, this wasnt easy via the automated service as it didn’t have an option to speak to a person but if you just stay on the Line after the options have ended it will connect you. We then got the code to the key box and just used the physical key during our stay. The bed was super creaky, I was sharing with a friend and turning over in the night was so loud we wereworried to move and wake one another. It was comfy though. There was very little in the way of storage, no drawers! We managed but a small chest of drawers in the hallway (which is huge) would be super helpful. Understanding the recycling and bags required was impossible and there was insufficient guidance so we ended up throwing everything in one bag in the rubbish … this has to be improved as I felt really bad doing this! Helpful to know that kitchen cleaning bits were supplied but we took oil, salt and pepper which helped. It would be good if these essentials were supplied. Take your own tea facilities, very little supplied. No toiletries supplied as far as I know, but there was shower gel and conditioner.., presumably left from another guest though as it wasn’t a set or anything. it did the job!

Friendly staff, spacious and clean, great views across the city and with such easy access to the city centre.

I booked a superior room and boy was I glad I did. We were on the top floor, level 12 and the views over the water towards the mountains, Arctic cathedral, cable car were superb. The room was spacious, but I’d say the bed was a double not a queen. Breakfast was excellent and we had no trouble getting a table. There’s a coffee/tea station by reception which is available 24/7 for free use. Also some cakes/chocs in the afternoon. Location is excellent, literally opposite the bus station if using the airport bus and only a few minutes walk into town. Staff all friendly. Overall a great place to stay!

Huge impressive villa with loads of space and a grand balcony perfect for viewing the Aurora (which we did nightly in early September). Nice short walk to the local Extra supermarket. Would have been 5* if the undertaking to meet and introduce us to the villa had been fulfilled. No one came and some aspects (eg the cooking facilities, the wonderful coffee maker; the microwave etc - all actually very impressive) took us a few days to understand and manage.
