9/10 Wonderful! (5,045 reviews)
The Clarion Hotel was perfectly located a few steps from the train station. My room was cozy and lovely and very quiet. The room had a fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was over the top there were a number of tables filled with baked goods, fruit, vegetables, cheeses and meats and several hot choices on top of a chef to make your personal omlette. Everything was delicious.
I ended up walking to all the tourist sites. Buses and trams available just outside the door of the hotel.
If I was so lucky to go to Norway again I would for sure stay at this hotel.

8.8/10 Excellent! (982 reviews)
The property is OK, but the reliance on a Self Service App and an automated agent is crap.
The App is absolutely unreliable and cumbersome for opening the door of the rooms and the cleaning staff is nice but absolutely not knowledgeable and thus not very helpful. Ok value for the price, but certainly not stellar.
