It was a great option for cheaper accommodation in Oslo. There was a bus stop literally out the back door for buses taking you to the city centre. A main train station was 20min walk.
Beautiful view from the hotel out over the water.
Breakfast was fantastic.
Staff very friendly.
My only dislike was the size of the single beds in the twin room. I chose the twin room because it was cheaper than a double bed room (don't understand why this is the case for single occupancy). The bed felt like it was for small children. I genuinely worried every time I rolled over that I would fall off, it was so narrow.

All good except for the restaurant, service and food quality was awful, I asked the toll waiter specifically lactose free steak and he brought it with massive butter on top of it burned and hard. Terrible experience!
