Stayed in the beach front rooms. They are clean and up to date. Can't beat the view. Feels like walking into hawaiian resort. Worth every penny ! Restaurant on site is excellent. Fresh fish selections and good quality drinks. Beach is clean and kid friendly. Resort is walking distance to several restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping .Will be back annually with the family .

The major amenity is/was the ocean. Unfortunately, it was contaminated by sewage from Tijuana Mexico. With the inability to even wade, much less have skin touch the wet beach, this amenity's value was reduced substantially.
NO MENTION OF THIS FROM THE HOTE (EITHER IN ADVANCE NOR AT THE CHECK IN), DESPITE THIS APPARENTLY BEING A FREQUENT PROBLEM. NO OFFER TO COMPENSATE FOR THE extraordinarily room rates, either.
VISITORS: BEWARE!!!! PAYING NEARLY $1,000 PER ROOM PER NIGHT WITHOUT THE AVAILABILITY OF THE BEACH!!
