Good hotel, nothing much to complaint about

Close to Marina very friendly staff and quite quiet also excellent view will be back

After an issue checking in where our booking was lost Jose placed us in a fab Junior Suite with kitchenette, sofa and bed. All hyper clean with great view of the beach and harbour entrance. Breakfast was the best with great choice from cooked to fruit & yoghurt to pastries. Always love coming to stay and never let's us down. Always recommend Vilamoura and especially the Ampalius.

We absolutely loved Vila Galé Tavira! From our amazing check-in staff to the entertainment and vibrant atmosphere right along the riverside in the heart of Tavira’s culinary delights, this property is a MUST STAY and made for a truly pleasant experience. The outdoor pool and patio area were wonderful spots to relax and soak up the sunshine by the Gilão riverfront. (The onsite gym is cozy, too, with adequate equipment to get a good sweat while on property). The experience was similar to being on a cruise ship with all of the scheduled events. The pool was incredible. You can spend all day at the pool and be entertained the entire time. We had Sangria making classes, water dance and aerobic classes. The second tier of the pool has private cabanas on a first come first serve basis. Well worth it for an afternoon siesta. The onsite gym is cozy and has adequate equipment to get a good sweat on while on property. The only thing that was not a perfect score was the breakfast. It had a lot of offerings but not as delightful as I would have preferred. I did like the fact that it was included in the price of the room though, it made mornings relaxed. All in all, I would definitely return and highly recommend it for your visit to the Algarve.

Very clean. Great a/c. Scanty coffee sugar tea kleenex. Nice kitchen and porch. Staff somewhat indifferent. Noisy pools re pumps too loud. Not too central. A little far to walk to restaurants. Shuttle full. No obvious shuttle pickup spot. Pool very big yet sitting space finite.

Beautiful hotel and fantastic surroundings close to the beach and marina (with many restaurants, shops, bars, gelaterias). Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are spacious with lovely linen and towels.

Hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.Pool area is very cramped and if you can't get a space ,a sun bed and umbrella opposite the hotel ,are available but you have to pay 15 euros, even though it is to do with the hotel.Also check your bill when leaving as we were going to be charged for 2 drinks which we never had. They said sorry

Staff was lovely & location is super convenient to the airport. I was a little surprised by how visibly aged the room was. It was clean but towels were scratchy & threadbare & the AC was struggling. On site restaurant was very good, the sangria was my favorite!
