Great location!!! Close to shops, restaurants, museum of natural history and Central Park! Garage across the street. Love the restaurant/bar area that has garage door that opens when the weather is great outdoors.

The hotel was phenomenal! We were greeting so warmly on arrival and given great dining and neighborhood tips by Ben- who was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful and all aspects of the hotel and dining/ bar spaces were gorgeous and full of character. We enjoyed The Portrait Bar a couple of times and had such fun. We also had breakfast in the restaurant and a spectacular dinner at Cafe Carmellini. I wish I could remember our server’s name because she was top notch.
I will go back to The Fifth Avenue Hotel. It was a wonderful experience.

Nothing bad to stay about this hotel. Very clean, great location, rooms were quiet, staff were lovely. I would highly recommend if you are looking to stay in NYC.

The room was big for NYC, it was very clean, the bed was comfy and love the lights on the bed frame. Great having all the mirrors in the room too, especially with 2 girls. Staff was friendly.
The elevator was extremely small and it seems the door only open halfway.

The original building has beautiful architecture. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel is very tired especially the rooms. I expect shower curtains in student accommodation not in a high end hotel in 2025…
Really left disappointed by the experience…
