Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park Cheap Holidays

Difficult to grade as we arrived quite late and left early. The issue we had was that messages were not being delivered regarding check-in from the hotel. There is a note on the Expedia system that says "staff may not be available and check-in codes will be provided". We never received such codes and as such panicked calls were needed by us to Expedia on the day of arrival. They couldn't get in touch with anyone here and we were left wondering what might happen. Finally we spoke to someone who assured us someone would be there to help when we arrived at around 8pm. From then on it was fine, although the door key didn't work initially. Staff that greeted us were pleasant.

Sara the receptionist was very kind and helpful. There was a bus close to the hotel that took us to Santiago de Compostela.

The hotel its rooms, public area and grounds are very maintained, elegantly appointed and luxurious. The included breakfast included a wide variety of fruits, breads, meats and cheese. Cooked to order eggs. The eggs were perfectly prepared. Dinner in the Michelin rated restaurant was memorable. The scallops and oysters were the best I’ve ever had. I hope to return to this excellent hotel and spa.

Room was quiet and staff ok, but didn't feel like a 4☆.

For those looking to surrender to the gentle rhythm of the land and ocean, this haven is absolute perfection. It remains beautifully quiet and completely undisturbed. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, making our restful getaway all the more tranquil."

The room had the hot water shut off. The air conditioning vent was missing. Overall the experience of the room was terrible. The floor was filled with paint leftovers. Staff did not even suggested moving rooms.

This is a really beautiful place! You feel like you're in the country and yet only about 15 minutes or so drive to Santiago de Compostela. But the best part was how gracious, friendly, and helpful our hosts, Julia and Julio were! Just a precaution if you have a mid to large size car, parking is really tight, but driving around the area, that seems to be the norm so definitely don't let that deter you from staying at this beautiful place!

This was a very nice pension right in the old town area. Easy walk to the cathedral and excellent restaurants. The staff was very helpful suggesting things.
