The property was beautiful. It was easy to maneuver if you need some assistance. They did a great job making it feel that it was in a place on its own, even thought it was walking distance to everything. The breakfast was amazing, with the buffet being well spread out and/ or you can order off the à la cart menu… or both. The resturant(s) at the hotel had a great selection and we enjoyed the meals that we had. I would recommend the reservation at the time of check in for the tasting menu. We had not and missed the experience. Note: the water you need to pay for, a suggestion is to go down to the supermarket and pick up some bottles, much less expensive. You can also pick up some drinks and put them in the fridge that is available in your room, One of the downfalls is the pool. It was only about 3 to 4 feet deep and you cannot swim a length as it was small and during our stay it was extremely hot and would enjoyed to be in the pool a little longer, however the pool was quite busy and hard to maneuver around the people. Overall great stay.

Room not that particularly clean. Long hair around the sink & skirting boards all around our room could have done with a good clean. Even found a hair grip in my bed…..& it wasn’t mine! Floor was a bit grubby too. We paid for 2 nights & unfortunately due to a bereavement, we had to leave the second morning. When I went to check out there was zero sympathy from your reception person. Not the hotel’s fault we had to leave early but would have liked a little bit of sympathy at least. One lift was out of action so it took ages to get a lift. Quite a funky hotel though & it was unfortunate we couldn’t stay to make the most of the amenities & local points of interest.

I truly enjoyed everything about my stay here. The location was the main reason why I chose this hotel and little did I know, it would be the best part about my stay. We needed to take the railway to our cruise port in Ravenna and this hotel was minutes from the Milan Central Station. We stayed twice in 10 days and both times the staff were amazing, the room was clean, the breakfast was delicious. Both times we arrived early and they had our rooms ready which was very much appreciated because we had been traveling from far each of the times we arrived early. I can’t recommend this hotel enough as I had an amazing experience here at Starhotels E.c.h.o. 10/10!
