Pool is tiny compared to photos the staff in their restaurant are very rude and really slow service.

Wonderful location and fantastic scenery

Hotel was very clean with nice spacious rooms. Location is great, close to shopping and the beach. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Overall an amazing stay.

We enjoyed the beach proximity. However the conditions of the hotel did not match its prestige image. Aside from finding our pillows were dirty—smudged with dirty—we would often be bothered by noise coming from the pipes under the sink. It was loud, unexpected and often went off late at night. Staff were friendly and the views from the hotel were good. The elevators were also tricky, not enough space for the amount people coming in and out, took a lot of time to get down from the 3rd floor, elevators were very full and busy.

Amazing hotel with amazing service. All the staff were great and very kind. Free icepops by the pool everyday at 2:30!

This property badly needs a major upgrade in terms of furniture, carpet/flooring, restrooms, hallways, bathrooms. Royal Hawaiian provides excellent service and amenities that speak of luxury, however, everything appears so shabby and dated. The Azure restaurant should consider changing chefs as the food in the fixed menu dinner was not good. Valet and guest services are excellent. But tipping becomes very costly.
