Northern Sardinia Golf Holidays

The area is very nice right next to w beautiful viewpoint, however the Porticciolo beach is not the best you’ll find in Sardinia, we travelled 40 minutes by car to Pelosa, and Bombarde closer to Alghero were far better. If you are thinking of staying a car is a must, as you can’t visit much or have freedom without it, as the camp is quite far from Towns. Our chalet was clean at arrival and smelt pleasant but the shower is very small. Kitchen didn’t have many utensils be prepared to buy various things if you are planning to cook. Air conditioning is €30 for 24 hours which is ridiculous and to our surprise was not included for free with the chalet. However it is bearable without it, just about. Patio area is nice and quiet, good parking space, and nice pool. Breakfast is standard, however the croissants and apple strudel are amazing!!! The cleaning fee we paid upon arrival was not stated before at booking and it was over €60!! Overall this camp is more suited for for families with children as it’s safe and has a lot of activities and great live singing every evening. Kids looked like they were having a blast! For couples we suggest more in town, or like we did just rent a car and drive around! We liked the camp for its natural beauty, lots of flowers and friendly cats, a bat of two but also many mosquitos! 3/5 :)

Hotel dei Pini has an unbeatable location — private beach, gorgeous sea views, and just a 15-minute drive to the beautiful town of Alghero. The breakfast was lovely and the staff warm and welcoming, which goes a long way. That said, for the price of a sea view triple room, the experience didn't quite match the 4-star billing. The rooms are comfortable enough but feel more like a solid 3-star — beds are decent without being particularly restful, and there are no in-room amenities you'd typically expect at this level: no robes, no glasses, no conditioner or body lotion. The wifi was also consistently unreliable, which is a basic expectation at any hotel these days. The moment that really stood out (and not in a good way) was receiving a formal written notice from the resort about a travel iron we'd brought — unplugged and sitting on a surface. We understood the safety concern, but the tone felt surprisingly stern for a property that otherwise prides itself on hospitality. A friendly word from a staff member would have gone a long way. The location and beach are genuinely special, and if you're looking for a relaxing base near Alghero with beautiful surroundings, it delivers on that front. But if you're expecting full 4-star amenities and value to match the room rate, you may leave feeling a little underwhelmed.

Room was fine, balcony had a high wall so had to stand to see over it. Pool and brach are nice but there is an intermittent sulphur smell near the beach and restaurant. Restaurant food is just ok.

The staff made everything better everytime. I had an awsome time and I can't wait to go again. The only thing is that the gym is a little outdated. Overall I will recommend this place always.

Although this property is rated as a four-star hotel, our experience did not reflect that standard. The rooms were quite basic, and the beds lacked comfort. We found the staff to be largely disengaged and not particularly helpful during our stay. Dining options were extremely limited, with only one nearby restaurant within walking distance. Throughout our five-day visit, we were unable to secure a dinner reservation at the hotel and ultimately had to rent a car to access dining options in the downtown area each evening. On the one occasion we had lunch on-site, service was very slow, and the steak we ordered was disappointing in both quality and flavor. On a positive note, the beach is beautiful, and we were able to enjoy our vacation primarily due to the flexibility afforded by our rental car and the scenic day trips we took. It’s also worth noting that while the hotel listing on Expedia advertises airport shuttle service, this comes at an additional cost. Guests should also be aware that there are daily fees for changing beach towels, and beach chairs incur extra charges as well.

Very unique clean hotel with traditional dwcor, wirh heloful staff.
