Villa was moldy but tolerable for the weekend. Sheets had stains. Housekeeping didn't do much. Breakfast left much to be desired. Check-in was empty when we arrived and no staff was able to tell us where to go to check in or when the desk would be staffed. They don't answer the phone. I requested late check out which was accepted and I put do not disturb on the door. Housekeeping still barged in and woke us up and was annoyed we hadn't left. Overall it could've been worse.

Good little apartment for exploring the Algarve and local area. Within walking distance of some local restaurants. The apartment was practical, the decor a little dated, although the kitchen and bathroom were nice. We had a few bugs get in, but being on the ground floor probably makes it more susceptible. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked ourselves 2 evening meals, and kept a stock of breakfast food. The pool area was ideal, not huge but the right size for the number of guests there. Having the bar right next to it is handy. We only ate at the bar/restaurant twice, the food was nice possibly a bit overpriced. We at out several times.
Overall if you're wanting somewhere basic to stay to explore the area we would recommend Pinhal da Marina.
