Smithe House provided a clean, quiet refuge for our weekend in Vancouver. The location is within walking distance (15-20) minutes from most downtown attractions. There are local eateries, bars and coffees much closer as well.
Decor is modern and in that way also a bit sterile, but the apartment was very clean, the bathrobes fluffy and the gym more than adequate for a good morning workout.

Stayed at Paradox for 5 nights and really enjoyed the stay. The location is excellent and very central close to shops and restaurants. The hotel room was beautiful and spacious and modern. Joel, one of the staff members was always helpful with giving information about places we wanted to visit. Also, Anelin who looked after our room was fantastic, she was always friendly when we ran into her in the hallway and did such a great job looking after our room every day.
Overall the staff are very friendly.
