Mexico and Central America Kid friendly Holidays

It was good but not the best. I saw that some of the restaurants needed to be maintained. For example the walls on one of the restaurants paint job went only half way and you can easily tell that they didn’t do a good job. Several Staff members were very nice. Some of them were not, the lady in the gift shop was very rude to me. I went to ask if I could have change for a $500 pesos for tips and she rudely told me if I didn’t know there was a coin exchange place next to the hotel. I didn’t, I had just arrived. I know there is two ladies but the lady with the short kind of curly hair. Anyways maybe she was having a bad day. Then the Mexican restaurant food was not good at all. We were only there for three days and the two days the Dj didn’t arrive on Thursday and karaoke was skipped on Saturday. The entertainment was not good. The guys were very nice but the show and production looked poorly. People from other parts of the country want to experience Mexican culture entertainment not USA stuff that is not good at The room was nice and clean which is a big plus. The bartender s Rafael y Christian were super nice and friendly to every one. And the Candlelight show on Thursday was amazing loved that, better than the show on the main hotel. Also having the show so early was very inconvenient because of the reservations at the restaurants are very limited and they take 30 to an hour to bring your food. They asked me if I wanted to become a member and I absolutely did not want to.

The staff is great! Louis and the day time activities team was amazing. The night time shows were very well done. And Sergio from the lobby bar and La Vista was like an old friend by the time we left. Everyone worked hard to ensure we had everything we needed and made our stay so much fun.

Overall a decent stay. It was a short ride from the airport (15 mins). The pools were nice and cooling, they also have pool noodles and floats you can use. The room had a nice ocean view. Staff was kind. Shout out to Roxi for taking a liking to my kid and playing the song Golden for her. The nightly entertainment was good. They had candlelights and a cellist and guitarist playing music one night which was really nice. They have a hospitality room where you can shower and change if you’re staying in the property after check-out. On to the parts that need improvement: The pool flooring is too slippery without sandals on so be careful. And the food is not good (this is coming from someone who is not a picky eater). Their drinks are watered down. The tortilla chips are inedible so I couldn’t even make my own chilaquiles (theirs were soggy). All meals left more to be desired but the fruit and fresh sweet bread were good. I could never make an appt to a restaurant through their app.

Amazing property, clean, perfect for families! Aljandro at cafe and Gastro were both super nice and pleasant to deal with. They both went above and beyond. I will be coming back here for sure. Such a luxurious hotel and with lots of activities.
