East Coast Pet-friendly Holidays

Lobby not that inviting. No tissues or refrigerator in the room. Need to schedule your room cleaning (I'm ok with that). Location very good. Got to the hotel early and they charged me for early check in. Also charged me for storing a suitcase - was leaving for 4 days and then returning. First time a hotel charged me for this (I've done this before). Overall an ok stay.

Location is ok if you want to be near the train station and tivoli. Brian at check-in was great. Tiny bathroom and sink so small it’s hard to use. Hasn’t been changed in 2 years so doesn’t seem like they take on the repeated feedback. Hot weather meant air con didn’t work at all and staff said to open window instead, but loud music from the bar opposite until late each evening made it very difficult, plus with the sun not setting til late you need windows/blinds closed to sleep. Given a fan after the second complaint but it broke after 30mins. When we arrived there was a large stain in the middle of the bed sheets which was impossible to miss…they changed it after brought to their attention. For 4* hotel expect better. Pillows not comfortable. Housekeeping is only done if requested by leaving sign on your door before 9am, and yet one day during our stay housekeeping randomly entered when it wasn’t requested so all our belongings were left out after not expecting anyone to enter. Second time staying and next time would choose an alternative with bigger rooms and different location.

Uncomfortable bed and bedding. No privacy in WC. No hand sink in WC very small space overall for bags/ belongings.

Lovely stay . Excellent venue , friendly staff, only opened a few weeks . A few little glitches . Missed cleaning the room once Apparently you should always put the sign on the door in this hotel . Never been to a hotel whereby if you don’t hang the sign , they don’t clean the room . With or with out the sign I have always had my room cleaned in other hotels . The sample hand cream in the bathroom had been opened & used before I entered the room . Despite, I would return, as I think they will be 100% on top of their game after a few more weeks . A pity the outside area wasn’t open on our visit .

Overall good. Well maintained overall and very helpful staff. Very clean. Great location. There were many positives that support the high rating. But there are 2 area that we were not happy with. There is no air-conditioning. We were sitting in our room sweating. We were given a different room. Staff confirmed the entire hotel doesn't have air conditioning. Next the wifi was terrible. You know it's bad when 4G is far superior. Travelers expect good wifi
