Apartment was really nice. Clean, great views, comfortable beds, fresh milk in the fridge. Unfortunately we were greeted by a very rude man who made the check in process very awkward which was a great start.

Quirky but lovely hotel and restaurant in beautiful rural Devon.
Food was amazing & bed was so comfortable! Best sleep for ages!
If you like older not-so-modern hotels that pride themselves on service this is for you..

Arrived and door access code didn't work - had to phone and then it was messaged to me. The bathroom skirting boards were really dirty. The kitchen was really basically equipped with only wine glasses for cold drinks. Reported on arrival but no action taken. Property however was perfectly serviceable and comfortable with contemporary design.
The walk up to the apartment car park was very hard work with endless stairs!!!
