The hotel is traditional Venetian decor, which is nice to experience. Staff were incredibly helpful. The Chamber Maid particularly stood out to us. One night my husband had an allergy attack and used all the Kleenex the next night she left two boxes of Kleenex next to his bed for him. Super thoughtful. For future travellers I would caution that the photos on Expedia representing the San Marco Terrace suite applicable to one of the four rooms. Our room well lovely did not have the same view. The other item for awareness, is that the bathtub shower was very deep and could be harder for an older person to get into. Overall, the property is lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is an authentic old style Italian hotel. We enjoyed ourselves and the location was outstanding. It’s clean and lovely. Also old and authentic.

I asked about transferring from Fusina cruise terminal to the hotel after I booked. The staff was very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. The hotel location was ideal: the water taxi that the hotel arranged brought us and our heavy luggage right to the hotel lobby. We liked its quiet location and the convenience- only a couple of minutes walk to Rialto Bridge or to San Marco Square. The hotel common areas were nicely decorated and our guest room was beautifully furnished. We were impressed with the large marble bathroom. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a wide range of selections and the nice dining areas had tablecloth on the dining table with cloth napkins. The servers were polite, friendly and helpful. We could hear the heavy steps above us in 2 of the 3 nights we stayed which made the experience less perfect.

This is a very nice hotel in the middle of Venice! Its location is great especially for getting to St. Mark's, Doge's Palace, shopping areas, and many restaurants and bars. Our breakfast that came with our room was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning in our room worked great. We would stay here again when we come back to Venice!
