"Hotel is conveniently located at the terminus of line 2 of the vaporetto, so it takes about 25 minutes to get to the tourist hot spots. It suited us as we prefer to be away from the noise and crowds at night. There isn’t anything around the area so if you want to be close to the vibrant nightlife of Venice, I’d suggest looking at other options. The hotel itself is clean and the staff helpful and courteous. The breakfast was outstanding, with options for every taste. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back."

"All of the staff from front of house to the restaurant to housekeeping were friendly and approachable. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfy. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower was great with a good water pressure. The only thing missing was refreshment facilities in the room for hot drinks. Otherwise a perfect stay and definitely would stay here again."

"We were given a room on the first floor. When we opened the door, we detected a musty kind of odor. Upon opening the bathroom door, the odor increased. It was coming from a drain in the floor. We covered the drain by taping down paper towels over it, closed the drains in the shower and wash basin and opened the window. Luckily, the smell diminished so that we did not have to change rooms. Upon some research on Google, found out that the canal itself added to the odor. We’re thinking the upper floors are not affected."

"The room was not expected from what was shown in the booking photos. There were insects inside of the room upon or entering. The painting on the wall wasn’t even straight; crooked. Definitely a borderline 3 star."

"We had a great stay at hu Venezia. The resort is clean, quiet, pet and family friendly. Having the restaurant/cafe on site made it easy to eat before exploring Venice or after getting back. They offer a shuttle service that takes you to and frpm Venice for a fee. This was VERY convenient, just look on their website or ask the front desk for help."

"Breakfast was good, nice selection. Staff are polite, courteous and friendly. English speaking as well. You can book a gondola ride right at the hotel. No waiting. The hotel is central in Venice. A few feet away from San Marco square and the waters edge for boat taxis or the water bus to and from the airport. "
