"Great bargain B&B. Shared bathroom is clean. Great shower pressure. Rosemary is an amazing host - hospitable and so friendly. We arrived really late at night and she was kind enough to feed us as there didn’t seem to be a lot of late night food options in the area. Easy to find street parking. Bus stop into downtown Belfast is just across the street. About a 30min bus ride to center of city. (Tip: buy a day pass for the bus via the mLink app, £3.70). "

"Like staying in a castle! The stone building is around 350 years old. I was prepared for it to be cold in the room with the slate floor but I was perfectly comfortable. However, there were heaters there to use if needed - including a heated towel rack in the bathroom! No breakfast included which suited us since we had an early flight out of Belfast. Everything is provided to make nice cups of tea. This will be our most memorable stay of the 2 weeks on the island. Lots of lovely character! "

"The location was very convenient when we came in on the motorway. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The parking was great and the elevators were a godsend. The staff was welcoming and friendly. "

"All was good except got food poisoning from supper meal. Had Chicken sandwich with salad so the chicken or the hard boiled egg was bad. I know it wasn’t the lettuce as I shared the lettuce with my husband and he did not get sick. Also disappointed no free refill on my soda. Breakfast looked lovely but didn’t dare eat for fear I was not fully recovered from the night before."

"Our experience at Ashfield Bed and Breakfast was great. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and quiet, We enjoyed breakfast each morning and appreciated quick access to public transportation along with quick service from local taxis and Ubers."

"We were only there for a short stay but overall it was a lovely stop over! Just outside Belfast it's situated in quiet countryside. Rooms were quiet, clean and easily accessible. We checked in late, which the staff were still there and helpful. Food after 5pm was tricky to source in the area but some later pizza places were open, drivable. "
